Interior and exterior decorating for Georgian townhouses, period cottages and modern family homes across Pershore and the Vale of Evesham.
Pershore is a genuinely mixed town to work in. Broad Street and the streets around the Abbey are lined with handsome Georgian frontages, many of them listed, while the edges of town and the villages beyond are a spread of Victorian cottages, post-war housing and newer estates. Each needs a different approach.
On the older properties it's the preparation that decides how long a finish lasts. Georgian sash windows, front doors, fanlights and railings all need stripping back properly, filling where the timber has moved and priming correctly before a topcoat goes anywhere near them. Inside, high ceilings, deep skirtings and original cornice work simply take longer to cut in around — and rushing that is exactly where a job starts to look average.
Mark Hall is based in Evesham, around six miles from Pershore, and has been decorating homes across this part of Worcestershire since 1990. Every job is carried out personally, with dust sheets down, tools away and everything left clean at the end of each day.
